Song of the post – “Ballroom Blitz” by Sweet
With Char Char transporting us, we resupplied and spent time in Mammoth Lakes versus staying in Independence. Having your own personal trail angel with a car, not a bad thing.
Those not familiar with Mammoth, it’s a pretty renowned California ski area. Also, it’s very active in the summer. Hiking, mountain biking, boating, and an exit point on the PCT. Hiker trash everywhere. Cliff and I will be back here again in a few days, when we naturally pass through the community on the PCT. Right now we get a sneak peek.

Beyond resupply, it’s the same old thing, laundry, piling on extra calories, resting our feet. Also, with Char Char here, we also have all our dogs which is awesome.
up above Mammoth. They love her. Breakfast burritos and Mimosas.
Back on the trail tomorrow for 5-6 more days in the Sierras. We will back track to Independence, and start where we left off.
